Aaron recently finished Wrangling Coach Rankin, a short film that he wrote and directed. The film stars Josh Meyers, Patrick Kerr and other exceptional actors. Aaron developed the character the “Rally Rapper” based on one of the characters in this movie. He has developed internet videos featuring the Rally Rapper which have enjoyed thousands of views.
Aaron is a founding member of the non-profit theater company The Next Arena. His original one man show Not Dead Yet earned critic’s choice in the Los Angeles Times and won Best One Act Playwriting at LA Weekly theater awards. Aaron has performed extensively in Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles. Some of Aaron’s New York City credits include: Coyote Take Me There at La Mama ETC (directed by Obie Award winning Leslie Lee), Of Mice and Men at the Pantheon Theatre, Edmund Ironside and Timon of Athens at American Globe Theatre.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Aaron has appeared in numerous short films and commercials while still taking time for the theater. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Northwestern University where he adapted and performed his thesis one man show Consumed by Justice: A Journey with Abraham Lincoln. Aaron also trained in San Francisco at American Conservatory Theatre and in London with an affiliate of Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. His current project Wrangling Coach Rankin will have its world premiere in Los Angeles in late 2007.
